Phoebe (Rego) Rodrigues, 96, of Chavenson St., passed away Monday at home, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. Widow of John Rodrigues. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel and Emily (Medeiros) Rego. A sewing machine operator, she worked at the former Shelburne Shirt Co. for over 40 years. Beloved mother of Joyce B. Rodrigues and sister of Laurina Medeiros, George Rego (wife-Helen) and the late Manuel, Frank and David Rego. Phoebe also leaves a sister-in-law, Sarah Rego and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, April 4, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
