Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raimundo M. Viveiros, 67, of Fall River, husband of Maria Helena (Viveiros) Viveiros, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 following a brief illness. Born in Ajuda da Bretanha, Sao Miguel, Acores, he was a son of Gilda (Viveiros) Viveiros the late Duarte P. Viveiros.

Prior to his illness, he owned and operated Viveiros Dairy for many years. A very hard-worker, he also loved singing, had an appreciation for the beauty of the land, and very much enjoyed his coffee and sweets. But most notably, Raimundo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and basically, loving to all.

Besides his loving wife of forty-five years, he leaves his son, Steve Viveiros and his wife, Brandi, of Swansea; his precious grandson, Lorenco Viveiros; his sisters, Odalia Oliveira and her husband, Joao, of the Azores, Ana Raposa and her husband, Arthur, of Fall River, and Brigia Viveiros of Fall River; brothers, Duarte Viveiros and his wife, Connie, of Dartmouth, Tony Viveiros and his wife, Helena, of Swansea, Jorge Viveiros and his wife, Armanda, of Winchendon, Massachusetts, and John Viveiros and his wife, Kimberly, of Swansea; and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, December 16th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in his memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38108-9959.
