Raymond C. Sebastiao, 94, of Fall River, husband of the late Seraphina (Raposa) Sebastiao, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at home surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Manuel Correia Sebastiao and the late Ermelinda (Sebastiao) Sebastiao.

Before his retirement in 1989, Raymond was employed at the Newport Naval Hospital for about 30 years. He then worked for 19 years as the parking lot attendant at Webster Bank. He was also a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.

An avid pigeon flyer, Raymond enjoyed raising pigeons since the early 1950s and was a member of local area pigeon clubs. He was also a sports fan and enjoyed bowling. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by: three children, Kenneth Sebastiao (wife Dawn) of Washington, PA, Beverly Craveiro (husband David) of Wentworth, NH, and Karen Sebastiao (fiancé Robert Marshall) of Fall River; three grandchildren, Justin Sebastiao, Jacob Sebastiao (wife Kate), and Jared Sebastiao (wife Sara); five great grandchildren, Eli, Evan, August, Decklan, and Olivia; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Joseph, Daniel, Chuck, Mary, Dorothy, Antone, and John.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, December 20th, in Holy Trinity Parish Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
