Regina M. Motta, 83, of Redford, MI, passed away on September 16th at home. Widow of Antoneio Morreira Motta. Born in Medford, MA, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Waddleton) Shaw, she moved to Detroit in 1959, where she was a school bus driver for 26 years. Although Regina and her family lived in Detroit, she always considered Massachusetts her home. Beloved mother of Antoneio Edward Motta, Garrette John Motta (wife-Wendy) and the late Regina Motta; grandmother of Adrian Vincent Motta and Nathan Bryce Motta; and sister of Paul John Shaw. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. As per her wishes, she was cremated in Michigan. Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial mass on Friday (3/20) at 10:00 AM in Holy Rosary Church , 120 Beattie St., here in Fall River. Burial of her ashes will be private.
