Richard David Correllas, 81, of Somerset, husband of Janice (DiNucci) Correllas, passed away peacefully at home on September  11, 2018 after a long illness. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Joseph and Constance (Andrade) Correllas. He was owner and proprietor of Billy's Cafe which he successfully operated for many years prior to his illness. An Army Veteran, he proudly served our Country during Cuban Crisis. An avid Red Sox fan, he also loved the ocean and spending time with family and friends at the Cafe. Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He especially adored his grandsons, spending many weekends on the field watching them play baseball and soccer. Besides his wife of fifty-six years, he leaves: his children, Richard Correllas and Kimberly Ann Correllas, both of Somerset; his grandsons, Thomas and Michael Richer; a brother, Robert Correllas and his wife Joyce of Fall River; and several nieces and nephews. Following his cremation, a Prayer Service was held during a memorial gathering on Saturday, September 22nd, in our Somerset Chapel. Private burial of cremains will take place at a later date.
