Richard A. Cyr, 66, of Fall River, husband of Mary Grace (Farias), passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 after a brief illness. Born in Dover, New Hampshire, he was a son of the late Henry Cyr and the late Mary Jane (Foss) Cyr. Richard had served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. He leaves: his children, Victoria Quinn and her husband Kevin of North Kingston, Rhode Island, Randy Cyr of Queen Creek, Arizona, and Kenneth Cyr of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, his stepchildren; Manuel Medeiros and his wife Tiffany of Fall River and Joseph Medeiros of Maine. He was the grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandfather of many; siblings and the uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of Larry Cyr and his wife Pat of Lincoln, Rhode Island, Gary Fell of Fall River, Karen Kelley of Little Compton, Rhode Island, Cheryl Dore of Westport, Nancy Moniz of Fall River, and Sandy Cabral of Fall River. He was the step father to the late Andre Medeiros. Services were held privately.
