Richard F. Silvia, 66, of Fall River, died Monday 7/23/12 unexpectedly at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Manuel F. & Evelyn (Rogers) Silvia. Prior to his retirement some years ago, he was employed with the Fall River Dept. of Public Works for many years. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed Harleys and shooting pool. He leaves: 2 children, Sheri Anunciacao of Fall River & Tracey Pavao of Tiverton; 2 siblings, Gerald & Linda Silvia both of Fall River; 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Anthony, Katelyn & Amber; several nieces and nephews. He was also the longtime companion of the late Beverly Andree. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, July 27, in Good Shepherd Parish Church followed by his committal at St Patrick Cemetery.
