Richard  "Chugga" Sampson, Jr. of Fall River passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the age of 46. Chugga was the son of Kathy Janelle and Richard Sampson, Sr. He was the step son of Doug Janelle.   Richard was the father of Elizabeth Kenneally of Taunton. Mr. Sampson is also survived by his sister Tina Leonard and her husband Jeff of Warwick, Rhode Island and his half siblings, David Sampson, Brandi Sampson, Rochelle Desrochers, and Crystal Sampson all of Fall River. Richard was the uncle several nieces and nephews. He was the owner of his beloved cat Envy, and was the owner of the late Scooby. Mr. Sampson been employed by the Stop and Shop Distribution Center in Assonet for the past twelve years. Following his cremation. a memorial gathering was held on Thursday, October 26th, in our Fall River Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation Richard's memory to the local animal shelter of your choice. Burial of Cremains will be private.
