Richard R. Souza, 64, of Fall River passed away on April 27, 2024, at Sarah Brayton Nursing Home following a brief illness.

He was the beloved husband to Donna (Ledoux) Souza for 40 years.

He was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Irene (Souza) Nadeau.

Prior to his retirement, he worked as a union laborer in the local construction industry for many years.  Back in the day, he loved to play hockey and even did some coaching. In his spare time, Richard loved taking long road trips, going for rides to the Newport waterfront and the casino, bowling, and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking, especially grilling and making clam boils.

Besides his wife of forty years, he is survived by his Godchild Ashley Reinche and several nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his sister, Rosemary Rogers.

His funeral arrangements, under the care of the Silva-Faria Funeral Homes, were private.
