Rita (Daigle) Caron LeBlanc, of Fall River, 97, widow of Edward LeBlanc and Raymond W. Caron, passed away Tuesday in Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Fall River, a daughter of Victor and Marie Anne (Blanchette) Daigle. She worked in the textile industry as a seamstress prior to her retirement. She leaves 7 children, Dianna Fontaine (husband-Ronald) of Swansea Robert LeBlanc (wife-Nancy) of FL, Edward LeBlanc (wife- Catherine) of Somerset, Louise Pleiss (husband-Kenneth) of Berkley, Margarita Medeiros (husband-Rodney) of Fall River, Suzanne Pimental (husband-John) of RI and Jacqueline LeBlanc (husband-Jay Klotz) of NY and her daughter in law Claudette Caron of Fall River; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Raymond E. Caron, and is pre-deceased by her 12 siblings. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, February 22nd, in Holy Name Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
