Rita M. Martin, 94, of 538 Robeson St., Fall River, formerly of Merton Street, Somerset, died Tuesday night at the Fall River Jewish Home. She was the wife of the late Ralph Martin of Somerset. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Walker F. Warrener and the late Marie Cleophie (Morrisette) Warrener. Mrs. Martin was a retired social worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Social Services, having previously worked as assistant personnel manager at the Shepard Company in Providence. She was a faithful communicant of Saint Joseph's Church on North Main Street in Fall River. She is survived by a son, Ralph Martin, Jr., and his wife, Christina Eisenbeis, of New York City and Somerset, a sister, Angela Frances Warrener, of Fall River, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Evelyn B. Green, Marjorie H. Geanacou, and Marcella J. Warrener. On Saturday, May 22, 2010, friends and family gathered at the Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home before departing for a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church.
