Robert C. "Bob" Fowler, 61, of Fall River, passed away on March 15, 2010 after an extended illness. He was the husband of Carol (DePippo) Fowler, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage. Born in Newport, RI, son of the late John Botelho and Evelyn (Heywood) Botelho. For many years, he worked as a chemical operator for Polaroid, ICI and Zeneca, Inc. He was a member of the Monday Night Mixers League at the Somerset Holiday Lanes and also enjoyed video games, woodworking, golf, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Bob loved to read and would read up to three books a week. An avid sports fan, he loved the Red Sox and was known as an extremely loyal and passionate fan of the Green Bay Packers. Bob is survived by sons, Paul Fowler (wife-Christine) and Marc Fowler (wife-Keleigh); a daughter, Joy Gomes (husband-Cole); a brother, John Botelho, Jr.; sisters, Donna Botelho and Cheryl DeMedeiros; granddaughters, Harley Fowler, Hayden Fowler, Allison Fowler and Olivia Gomes; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church. He was laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery.
