Robert C. DiSpirito, 96, of Fall River, son of the late Aquilino & Laura (DeFelice) DiSpirito, died Saturday 9/8/12 at Kimwell Nursing Center. A US Army veteran of World War II, he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a barber for over 50 years at his family's business, DiSpirito Barber Shop, formerly of 829 Bedford St, until his retirement when the 75-year-old shop closed in 1985. He was a former member of the local Sons of Italy lodge. Surviving are several nephews & nieces, including William DiSpirito and his caregiver, Laura Cousineau, of Fall River. Brother of the late Anthony, Eugene, Emilio, and Emma May DiSpirito. His funeral Mass was celebrated in Holy Rosary Church. He was laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery.
