Robert J. Ferreira, 57, of Fall River, husband of Dorothy (Perreira) Ferreira, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at home after a long illness. Born in Fall River, son of Caroline (Cipolini) Ferreira of Fall River, and the late Robert Ferreira, he worked as a truck driver for Colonial Wholesale Beverage. He enjoyed sports and was a fan of the New York Giants and the Baltimore Orioles.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by: two sons, Robert A. Ferreira (girlfriend Rebecca Vallaincourt) and Matthew P. Ferreira (girlfriend Melinda Pedro) both of Fall River; two sisters, Robin Camara (husband Michael) and Rachel Ferreira both of Fall River; a grandson, Charles; several nieces & nephews; and a godchild. He was also a brother of the late Randy Ferreira and Russell Ferreira.

His Funeral Service was held on Monday, August 28th, during calling hours in our Fall River Chapel. His burial in Notre Dame Cemetery was private.
