Robert A. Moniz passed away on March 16, 2017 in Fall River, MA. He was the husband of Eleanor (Correia) Moniz with whom he shared 54 years of marriage. Mr. Moniz was born in Fall River and was the son of Manuel and Hilda (Oliveira) Moniz. Robert was a US Army Veteran where he attained the rank of SP-4, the modern Specialist Rank. He is also survived by his sister in laws: Pauline Valley and her husband James, Geraldine Silva, Irene Soares, Dolores Chace and her husband Russell and his brother in laws: William Correia, Ernest Correia and his wife Theresa. He is also survived by nieces Lauren Correia, Christine Silva-Adermann and Joelle Mendes and his nephews  Jeffrey Chace and James Valley, III.  A private Memorial Service with military honors was held in our Somerset Chapel.
