Ronald George Pereira, 75, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday January 5th, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Kathleen Mary (Cardoza) Pereira, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, son of the late Manuel C. and Susan (Benedetta) Pereira, Ronald served in the US Navy and worked in maintenance at St. Anne's Hospital for 17 years. He was an avid golfer and founded the St. Anne's Hospital Golf League. Ronald also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his beloved granddaughter, Allie Therrien. He was the father of Daniel Therrien (wife - Ashley) of Taunton, Ronald Pereira, II, Brian Pereira, Laurie Henderson and Lisa Douglass, all of New Hampshire; brother of Manuel Pereira of Tiverton, Jackie Sirois and Beverly DiCesaro, both of Fall River, and the late Marguerite Bouchard. He also leaves 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ronald's funeral arrangements were private.
