Ronald J. Soares, 76, of Fall River, companion of the late Donna Luz, passed away at St. Anne's Hospital on April 17, 2021 after an illness. Born in, and a lifelong resident of, Fall River, he was a son of the late William P. Soares and the late Mary (Amaral) Soares.

Prior to his retirement over ten years ago, he worked as a custodian for many years with the Fall River school department. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Parish Church.

He is survived by: a brother, William P. Soares, Jr.; a niece, Pauline Soares; and several grandnieces/nephews.

His cremation was private.
