Rosa P. Redondo, 96, of Fall River, widow of Jose Carreiro Cabral, died Friday 2/24/12 at Crawford Nursing Home. Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Joao Botelho & Maria Pacheco Redondo, she emigrated to Fall River in 1995. She leaves: 4 children, Manuel Redondo, Maria Resendes, Leonel Cabral & Alda Lima; 9 grandchildren, Rosa Medeiros, Iria Tiburcio, Viriato, Joey, Bobby & Armindo Lima, Marcia & Sandra Cabral, & Filomena Fatima Resendes; 10 great grandchildren, Marisa, Sergio, Jesse, Lucas, Tristan, Elizabeth, Joshua, Josie, Sofia & Amalia; many nieces & nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, March 1, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St Patrick Cemetery.
