Rosalina C. (Ferrieira) Oliveira, 88, of Fall River, wife of the late Luis R. Oliveira, passed away peacefully on Monday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Nordeste, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria Cecilia (Teves) Oliveira. She worked as a sewing machine operator for many years in the textile industry prior to her retirement. Rosalina loved cooking, crocheting, singing, and baking, especially her massa which was her specialty. She also enjoyed watching her Portuguese soap operas, going to the movies, and her trips to Newport and Cape Cod. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who truly loved her family. She leaves her six children: Joseph F. Oliveira and his wife Almerinda, Daniel Oliveira and his wife Carolyn, Maria I. DaCosta and her husband Donato, Rina N. Ferreira and her husband Bento, all of Fall River, Luis F. Oliveira of Florida, and Deolinda Robertson and her husband Kevin of Somerset; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Alvarinho, Manuel, Antonio, and Tomas Ferreira, Jorgina Feijo, Conceicao Branco, and Maria Eugenia Ferreira. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, December 1st, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
