Rose Diniz, 66, of Fall River, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of Daria (Valerio) Diniz and the late Virginio Diniz.

Rose was truly larger than life, joyful, vibrant, and full of love. She loved attending Cornerstone Day Care, where she thrived and found happiness in her daily routines. She enjoyed word searches, arts and crafts, dancing, listening to music, Especially Elvis, and savoring her favorite meals, including stuffed lobster. Rose had a genuine love for life and for everyone who was a part of it, and her warmth and spirit were felt by all who knew her.

Most of all, Rose cherished time spent with her family. She shared a special bond with her mother, Daria, and treasured their days spent side by side. She was a devoted and loving mother to her children and a proud grandmother to her granddaughter, Emma, the joy of her life.

Besides her mother Daria, she leaves her two children, Amy Almeida of Fall River and Tony Moniz of Fall River; her granddaughter Emma; her brother Joe Diniz and his wife Fatima of Fall River; her nephew and nieces, Joshua Diniz and his wife Joanne, Natasha Diniz and her partner Jason, and Jocelyn Diniz and her husband Adam; her grandniece and grandnephews, Joy, Joseph, and Sage; and, last but not least, her beloved dog, Rocky.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Calling Hours at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Her Funeral will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. from the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford Street, Fall River, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered at Holy Trinity Parish at 10:00 a.m. Committal services and interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
