Rose Alma (Boutin) Helger, 103, formerly of Colfax St, widow of Henry Howell Helger, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Crestwood Nursing Home, Warren, RI. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Boutin and the late Josephine (La Brecque) Dery, formerly Boutin; and step-daughter of the late Alphonse Dery.

Prior to her retirement, at age 83, she had worked for many years at the former Ideal Laundry.

She is survived by: her daughter, Rose A. McComb (formerly White), and her husband Donald McComb, of Somerset; two grandsons, George H. White, and his wife Roby, of Colorado, and Kevin L. White, and his wife Lynne, of New Bedford; two great grandsons, Erick White and Aaron White; one great granddaughter, Sydney White; two step grandsons, Michael Racicot and Daniel McComb (wife Becky); two step great grandsons, Russell McComb and Thomas McComb; and many nieces & nephews.

Rose was also the sister of the late: Josephine Heap (husband Maroni), Joseph Boutin (wife Diana), Roland Boutin (wife Beatrice), Lorraine Farias (husband John), Irene Chaves formerly Coderre (husband Antone), Louise Perreault (husband Leo), and Doris Chouinard (husband Fern); and sister-in-law of the late Clara (Swarm) Cashman and Bill Cashman.   Her Funeral Arrangements with Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home, 84 County St, Somerset, were private.
