Rose (Fournier) Scanlon, 98, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Sunday at Kimwell Nursing Home. Widow of James B. Scanlon. Born in Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late David and Emma (St. Pierre) Fournier. Mother of James Scanlon, Russell Scanlon (wife - Elaine), Patricia Gagnon (husband - Ronald), Michael Scanlon (wife - Janet) and the late Joan Oliveira; sister of Roland Fournier. She also leaves 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, September 28th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
