Obituary

Roseanne (Barboza) Boyer, formerly St. Pierre, age 64, of Fall River, wife of James Boyer, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Mary Barboza.

A Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional, Roseanne worked as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor at Thrive Behavioral Health of Rhode Island for 10 years.

She loved gathering and meeting with friends, spoiling her grandchildren, and taking care of those in need.  She had many obstacles in her life, but in the end she was able to overcome many of them and THRIVE. Her children couldn't be prouder of the woman she was and always will be in her heavenly home.

Besides her husband, she is survived by: two children, Dawn M. Boudria (husband Brian Curtis) of Washington, D.C. and Jason M. Boudria of Fall River; her mother-in law, Joan Boyer of Assonet; three siblings, Veronica Barboza of Fall River, Anthony Barboza of Pawtucket, R.I., and Melanie Barboza of Fall River; five grandchildren, Jaylin, Victoria, Jaydin, Wellesley, and Jaydah; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also the stepmother of the late Brittney Boyer; and sister of the late Mary Barboza.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, June 8th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church. She was buried privately at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
