Rui M. Couto, 74, of Fall River, husband of Maria de Ceu (Soares) Couto, passed away with his family by his side on July 24, 2018 in Fall River. Rui was born in Feteira Grande, Nordeste, and was a son of the late Angelo Aguiar and Maria do Carmo Resendes. Mr. Couto was a retired finish carpenter for Alden Yachts and worked part time at Marzilli's Bakery throughout his retirement.  He was a Member of the Don Carlos Social Club and a long time parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fall River.  In addition to his wife of 43 years he is survived by: his three children, Lisa Andrade and her husband Michael, Brian Keith Couto , and Keri Dutra and her husband Leonard all of Fall River; two grandchildren, Sierra Andrade and Logan Andrade; four siblings, Laurenio Couto, Angelo Resendes, Duarte Aguiar, and Silvina Carreiro all of Fall River. He was the brother of the late Ines Amaral, Catarina Raposo, Jose Resendes, and Joao Luis Aguiar. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, July 27th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
