Sacuntala C. Pereira, 62, of Fall River, passed away Sunday unexpectedly. Widow of Manuel C. Pereira. Born in St. Michael, Azores, daughter of Maria (Coimbra) Vasconcellos and the late Jose Barao. She was mother of Pedro Pereira and Robert Pereira (wife Nicole); sister of Rosa Mattos, Francisco Barao and the late Olga Barao. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church on Wednesday (11/25) followed by committal services at St. Patrick Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jimmy and Benny Pereira, Chris Rego, Frank Mattos, Mark Marcellino and Pierre Bernier.
