Sadie (Assad) Pelletier, 86, of Lafayette Place, Fall River, formerly of Massasoit Street, passed peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Sarah Brayton Nursing Center. She was the widow of Lionel Pelletier. Born and raised in Fall River, Sadie was also a resident of Maynard, MA. She was the daughter of the late Deeb Assad and Katoon (Ameen) Assad. Sadie worked at the family owned Zeke's restaurant in the Flint section of Fall River for many years. She was a member of St. Anthony of the Desert Church. Survivors include Nazira Duddy Viera, godchild and many nieces and nephews: Bruce Assad, Gayle Assad, Jayne Candace Campion, Shay Assad, Catherine Assad, Debra Daley, Gregory Assad, James Hallal, Sandra Grimo, and Donna Hallal, as well as, many great nieces and great nephews. Sadie was also the sister of the late Shay Assad, Joseph Assad, and Wadid Hallal and dearest aunt of the late Mary Ann Hallal and Cynthia Good. Her Funeral Mass was offered on Tuesday, November 30, in St. Anthony of the Desert Church followed by a committal service at Notre Dame Cemetery.
