Samira E. Salibi, 89, of Fall River, wife of the late Emile Salibi, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at St. Anne's Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Btalloun, Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Elias Salibi and the late Rachel Salibi.

She loved cooking, baking, and simply spending quality time with her family. She also enjoyed her trips to Canada and back to her homeland in Lebanon to visit family.  An amazing woman in so many ways, Samira was considered to be the "matriarch" of the family and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves her loving children, Fadi Salibi of Dubai, Souad Salibi and Fadia Salibi, both of Beirut, Nouhad Saliby of Lakeville, Eugenie Awad and Kamal Salibi, both of Canada, and Nehmat Salibi of Labanon; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Mona Aboud of Lebanon; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late George Salibi and Renee Hachem.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, November 12th, in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church followed by her committal at Notre Cemetery.
