Sandra Jean Ettress, 72, of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 30, 2022, surrounded by her family.

She was the daughter of the late Taylor Ettress Sr. and Amelia (Concaison) Ettress Soares.

She absolutely loved playing bingo in the New Bedford area and was known to take and cherish hundreds of pictures capturing her beloved family and friends.

Sandra is survived by her son Alfred Gomes and his wife Heather Gomes, and Corey Gomes and his wife Kia Gomes; grandchildren, Al-lanna Gomes, Teyana Gomes and Khalid Young; her brother, Kenneth Ettress and his wife Sandra Correia-Ettress; her sisters, Julie Morgado and Lisa Ruffin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also sister to the late Taylor Ettress Jr. and Brenda Ettress.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, January 7th, 2023, from 2-5pm at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St. Fall River, MA, where her funeral service will take place at 3pm.
