Sarah Berube, 98, of Fall River, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday. Widow of Philip "Nap" Berube. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late John and Theresa (Raposa) Medeiros. Sarah loved to sew, crochet and cook. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara "Peachy" Latinville (late husband Joseph) of Fall River; grandsons, Brian Latinville (wife-Jill) and Joseph Latinville (wife–Susan) great grandsons, Brenden, Andrew, Ian and Riley; and several nieces & nephews. She was also sister of the late Mary Rebello, Manuel Peixinho, John Peixinho, Antone Medeiros and Joseph Medeiros. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, August 13, in Holy Trinity Parish Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery. In honor of Sarah's love for cooking and feeding people, donations in her name can be made to the soup kitchen of your choice.
