Sarina (Medeiros) da Mota, 87, of Fall River, wife of Joao da Mota, died on Monday, July 16, 2007 at Boston Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Diogo Rodrigues) Medeiros Grota, she emigrated to Fall River in 1968. She worked at the former Nancy Dress then at the former Bo-Mark, retiring in 1982. Besides her husband, she is survived by: son, Jose da Mota of Cape Coral, FL; daughter, Luisa Tavares of Fall River; sister, Helena Inacio of St. Michael, Azores; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Manuel & Jose Rodrigues, Antonio Medeiros, Mariana Rego, Maria Raposo and Ana Raposo.
