Saul P. Tavares, 32, of Dartmouth, husband of Michelle (Tavares) Tavares, died unexpectedly 7/4/10 in Morton Hospital, Taunton. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of Saul & Maria de Lurdes (Vieira Paulino) Tavares, of St. Michael, he emigrated to the US in 2001. He was employed in the local boat building industry for 9 years. Besides his wife and parents, survivors include: a son, Mason; a daughter, Maegan; many siblings, nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, July 10, in St. Michael's Church followed by a committal service at St. Patrick Cemetery. Pallbearers were Junior and Gil Paulino, Jerry Coroa, Joey Tavares, Manny Mello, and Michael Pereira.
