Scott P. Schmidt, 49, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Born and raised in Fall River, he was the son of George R. Schmidt and Laurie (Rodrigues) Schmidt.

Scott worked as a baker for White Rose Bakery for many years and was passionate about his job. A very hard-worker, he was also considered to be a "jack of all trades", but was well known for his skills in painting, and could build/accomplish just about anything, and was proud of all his work. He enjoyed traveling, taking special care of his car, scratch tickets, and trips to the casino, almost as much as he loved his sneaker collection and being by the ocean watching the sunset. Most important to Scott was spending quality time with his family, especially his two grandsons. Being a "papa" was a title Scott held near and dear to his heart.

Besides his mom and dad, he leaves behind his loving children, Bree A. Schmidt and her companion, Matthew Frias, Scott P. Schmidt Jr., Kaiden Schmidt, and Serenity Schmidt, all of Fall River; his grandchildren, Jayce Paiva, and Noah Prescott, as well as his cherished dog, Mya.

His funeral arrangements were private.
