Scott
Stephen Somers, 52, of Desert Hot Springs, California, formerly of Somerset,
passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 25, 2011 in California. He was the
husband of Christy Lee Somers. Born in Fall River, son of Charles and Belmira
(Braz) Somers of Westport, MA. Scott was a graduate of Somerset High School,
Class of 1977 and graduated from Berklee College of Music, Class of 1981. He
was a Master Teaching Pro of PGA West, CA. Besides his wife, he is survived by
sons, Stephan and Paul Somers; grandson, Noah; step-children, Ty and Tias
Terry, and Shayne, Ian and Katie Cunha; one aunt and several cousins. Family and friends gathered for A Celebration of Life service for Scott which was held on January 14th. In Scott's memory, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or National Kidney Foundation.
