Scotty Alex Medeiros, 35, originally from Somerset, MA .passed away May 30, 2015. He resided in Somerset for 17 years of his life and graduated from Somerset High School. He moved to Raynham, MA in 2011, and most recently took residence in Portsmouth, VA. Born in Fall River, he is the beloved son of Maria N. (Aguiar) Medeiros and Carlos C. Medeiros and grandson of Irondina Medeiros and late Luis Alexandre Medeiros and the late Jose and Maria Jose DeOliveira. Scotty adored to laugh and always enjoyed spending time with his family. The center of his world were his two nieces Natasha and Alexandra which he called almost every day to talk to and often said the hardest part about living out of state was being so far away from "his girls". Besides his parents he leaves behind a twin sister, Monica (Medeiros) Cunha and brother in law Christopher Cunha who loved and cared for him so much. Scotty was also dearly loved my many aunts, uncles, and cousins which will forever remember his kind and caring ways and whom he adored. His funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, June 8th, in St. John of God Church in Somerset followed by his committal and entombment at the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
