Shawn T. Dillon, age 48, of North Dighton, Massachusetts, passed away in Brockton on Friday, February 19, 2016, following a long illness. He was the husband of Lisa (Gentile) Dillon. Born in Brockton, he was the son of James Dillon and June (Maguire) Dillon of Brockton. A graduate of Brockton High School, he was a carpenter, currently self-employed with his company A-1 Wood Floors. Residing in North Dighton for 14 years, he was a communicant of St Nicholas of Myra Church in North Dighton. Shawn had a passion for softball and could often be found at the fields playing in various adult leagues and coaching his two girls. In addition to his wife, Lisa, he is survived by his two daughters, Stephanie and Meghan Dillon of North Dighton, a sister, Michelle Dillon of Halifax, MA, and several nieces and nephews. Following his cremation, his Memorial Mass was celebrated in St Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church in North Dighton on Saturday, February 27th.
