Shawn Michael Tobin, also known as "Shawnie" 44, of Swansea, longtime companion of Tracy Freitas, passed away on March 20, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, son of the late Thomas Joseph and Virginia (St.Pierre) Tobin. Shawn loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, frequenting Laconia, New Hampshire several times a year. An avid sportsfan, he also enjoyed skiing, music, and playing his X-Box. A truly good-hearted man, he treasured and loved his family and friends. Besides his companion of 27 years, he leaves three brothers, Thomas L., Joseph P., and Jeffrey S. Tobin, all of Swansea; and several nieces and nephews. Following his cremation, Shawn's Memorial Service was held on Saturday, April 1st, during a memorial gathering in our Somerset Chapel.
