Shirley M. Bruneau, 83, of Fall River, formerly of Westport, wife of the late Robert Bruneau, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 after a long illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Mabel Emond. While raising her family, she and her late husband owned and operated Robert's TV.

A strong-willed and hard-working woman, she meticulously maintained her home and property. Shirley loved shopping, traveling, cooking, crossword puzzles, and reading. She also enjoyed campaigning for local politicians.

She leaves: her sons, Dennis Bruneau and his wife Mary of Wareham, Robert Collins of Lakeville, and Steven Matias and his wife Donna of Fall River; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Michael Bruneau.

Her Funeral was held on Tuesday, August 14th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by her committal at Beech Grove Cemetery in Westport.
