Shirley V. Dalton, 79, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday after a brief illness. Long-time companion of Ronald Thibeault. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel T. and Elizabeth Froias. She worked for the former New England Telephone Co. for many years. Beloved mother of Christopher Dalton and the late James, Todd and Lee Dalton; stepmother of Lynn Souza, Kimberly Botelho and Ronald Thibeault, Jr.; grandmother of Peter and Amanda Dalton.  She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, April 29, in Holy Name Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
