Stanley Pierre-Louis, 35, husband of Maryanne (Raposo) Pierre-Louis, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 7, 2019 after a long illness. Born in Cambridge, MA, he was the son of Sylvain and Marie Ginette (Valentin) Pierre-Louis. He was a Customer Service Associate at Eye Health in Dartmouth before his illness. He was an All-Star High School Athlete who passionately ran track and set a record that has not yet been broken. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Celtics and Patriots. A very talented painter and sketcher, he was also a very hard worker, had very strong faith, and truly was the most loving husband, father, son, and brother anyone could ask for. Romans 10:9 reflects Stanley's steadfast belief in the Lord: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." He was a true gentleman, always smiling and always willing to help anyone in need. But what he loved most in life was spending time with his family and friends. Besides his parents and wife of five years, he leaves: his son, Quintin Pierre-Louis  and his daughter, Lillyanna Pierre-Louis; sister, Valencia Pierre-Louis of Somerville, MA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His Funeral Service was held on Saturday, January 12th, in our Somerset Chapel followed by his committal at Vinnicum Woods Cemetery in Swansea.
