Stephanie M. Baker, 65, of North Dartmouth, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, Burlington, after an illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Rodman H. Baker and the late Shirley M. (Carvalho) Baker.

She was employed with the Fall River School System for over 40 years as a teacher – having started at Morton, but working for most of that time at Kuss Middle. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, painting, and walking; and she loved animals – volunteering at local shelters.

She is survived by: two children, Stephen Botelho, Jr., and Laura Botelho both of Fall River, their father, Stephen Botelho, Sr.; three siblings, Deborah Janiak and Rodney S. Baker, both of Swansea, and Brian Baker of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, December 6th, at St George Church in Westport, followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
