Stephanie L. Niewola, 51, of Fall River, former wife of Mark Niewola, passed away on July 11, 2022 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester surrounded by her loved ones following a brief illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of Ronald P. Antaya and Joanne Petrasso.

Prior to her illness, she was a Registered Nurse at Rhode Island Hospital for many years. She loved cooking, the holidays, New York, animals, and nature. A selfless and giving woman, Stephanie also enjoyed her charitable work such as helping victims' families and survivors of the Station Night Club Fire. She was very proud of her Portuguese heritage and was passionate about her nursing career. Most important to her was spending quality time with all her family.

Besides her parents, she leaves her loving son, Christopher Ferreira and his fiancé, Cailin Kuhn, of Springfield, MA; her sister, Danielle Lobo, of Fall River; and her two nephews, Tyler Antaya and Sean Lobo.

Her funeral arrangements were private.
