Stephen W. Alexander, 61, of Somerset, died at home Thursday, July 18, unexpectedly. Born in Taunton, son of the late Joseph and Macie (Perry) Alexander, he lived in Somerset most of his life. He was employed as a cook at Taunton State Hospital for 30 years. Father of Pauline Alexander of Janesville, WI, and the late Stephen W. Alexander Jr. Brother of Pauline Connelly and Michael Alexander both of Somerset, and the late Cynthia King, James and Joseph Alexander. He also leaves 4 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, July 23, in St Patrick Church followed by his committal at St Patrick Cemetery in Somerset.
