Steven P. Jordan, Sr., 78, of Fall River, husband of Louise (Medeiros) Jordan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at St. Anne's Hospital after a period of declining health.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late John and Maria (Silvia) Jordao.

Prior to his retirement, he was a foreman for the City of Fall River's Water Department for many years. He was a United States Army Veteran and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. An avid New England Patriots fan, he also loved watching old-time cowboy movies. A very hard-working man, he made sure his family was always well-provided.  But most important, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending quality time with his loving family.

Besides his wife of fifty-five years, he leaves: his two sons, Joseph Jordan and his companion, Melissa Borden, of Warwick, Rhode Island, and Marc D. Jordan of Fall River; his two granddaughters, Taylor Nicole Jordan and Alexandria Louise Jordan; a sister, Shirley Botelho of Fall River; brothers, David Jordan (late wife, Antoinette) and Richard P. Jordan, both of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Steven P. Jordan and brother of the late John P. Jordan, Dorothy Jordan, and Lenora  Carvalho.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, January 25th, in Santo Christo Church followed by his committal with military honors at St. Patrick Cemetery.
