Steven J. Simanski, 28, of Fall River, devoted husband of Amanda Lynn (Seidl) Simanski, doting father of Lillian M. Simanski, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 20, 2018, at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Newton, son of Susan (Boynton) Simanski of Taunton, and Myron J. Simanski of Brockton, stepson of Karen (DiBona) Simanski, he resided in Fall River for the past four years.

A skilled plumber and construction worker for years, he had also worked at Home Depot and Lowes. He delighted in making models, and making people happy – his smile and personality could light up the darkest room. He took good care of his pack of animals who would always be by his feet or on his chest.

Steve also enjoyed collecting of all sorts with his wife, and they had many shared interests. His hobbies included playing video games with his wife and daughter, and spending as much quality time with them as possible.

While his adoring wife, Amanda Lynn, and his loving daughter, Lilly, are now heavy-hearted with grief, they know that nothing filled Steve's heart more than the precious time spent with those whom he loved – cherishing his family dearly and keeping close contact with them often.

He was the brother of Myron Simanski Jr (Stephanie) of Plymouth, and James Simanski (Tamara Saiyaitong) of Fall River; and a grandson of Isabel (Ward) Boynton of Taunton, the late Richard Boynton, and the late Chester & Muriel (Stimpson) Simanski. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive him.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, July 28th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church at 11:00. Private cremation followed.
