Taylor J. Ettress, Jr., passed way on his 63rd birthday, Monday, May 23, 2011, at his home in Westport, Massachusetts. He was the husband of Natalie M. (Pacheco) Ettress of Westport, Massachusetts. He was born on May 23, 1948, in Fall River, he was a son of the late Taylor Ettress, Sr., and the late Amelia (Concaison) Soares, formerly Ettress. A resident of Westport since 1975, he was employed as a floor installer for many years at Regal Floor Covering in Fall River and also worked for the former Uni-Con Floors. He was a Union Member of Local 2168. An avid sports fan, especially of NASCAR. He was also a fixture at the Holiday Lanes in Westport as a member of many bowling leagues, including American Men, Thursday Night Mixed Doubles and the Westport Commuters. Above all else he enjoyed the company of his family and was blessed with a large one. In addition to his wife, Natalie, surviving family members include his five children; Taylor Ettress III, of Fall River, Scott Ettress of Westport, Leigh Ann, and her husband David Ralls, of Rocky Hill, CT, Holly and her husband Kevin DeMello of Westport, and Joseph Ettress, and fiancé Jocelyn Briggs of Tiverton, RI, a brother, Kenneth Ettress and his wife Sandy of Fall River, three sisters; Julie Mogardo of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Sandra Ettress of New Bedford, MA, Lisa Ruffin of Lilburn, Georgia and (late) Brenda Ettress, nine grandchildren; Taylor Ettress, IV, Travon Ettress, Jared Ettress, Ashley Amaral, Hailey Ralls, Jacob Ettress, Paige Ralls, Kennedy DeMello, Connor DeMello, and "Baby" Ettress expected shortly. His Funeral Mass was celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church in Westport. He was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River.
