Teresinha C. Medeiros, 83, of Fall River, widow of Marciano F. Medeiros, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Center. Born in Ribeira Grande, St. Michael, Azores, a daughter of the late Manuel Antone Rodrigues and the late Diamantina Menezes (Vargas) Rodrigues, she lived in Fall River most of her life.

Prior to her retirement, Teresinha was employed for many years in the local textile industry, at Shelburne Shirt and Able Manufacturing.  She was also a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union ("ILGWU") now called UNITE.

Over the years, Teresinha enjoyed volunteering at the soup kitchen and for various church functions including the annual Holy Ghost Feast.  She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by: a son, John Medeiros (wife Traci) of West Wareham; a daughter, Elizabeth Robitaille (husband Ronald) of Fall River; three grandchildren, John Medeiros, Jr., Cody Diogo, and Aaron Robitaille; and several nieces and nephews.  Teresinha was predeceased by all her siblings, Ermelinda Coroa, Palmira Rodrigues, Maria de Lourdes Rodrigues, Antone Rodrigues, and Manuel Rodrigues.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, January 9th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal St. Patrick Cemetery.
