Theresa Jeanette Almeida, 85, of Fall River, wife of the late Frank Almeida, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday morning. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Francis J. Walsh and the late Emily (Sylvia) Almeida. A very hard worker, she was a Certified Nurses Aid at Cliff Manor Nursing Home for many years prior to her retirement. She loved cooking and trips to the beach. A very outgoing person, Theresa also enjoyed spending quality time with family. She leaves: her daughter, Judy A. Rossi of Johnston, Rhode Island; three grandchildren, Scott G. Rosser of VA, Jason G. Rosser of TN, and Theresa Raposa of RI; four great-grandchildren, Mark, Ashley, Destiny, and Jonathan; five great-great-grandchildren ; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Constance Raposa and the late Robert F. Almeida and grandmother of the late Thomas and Mark Raposa. Her committal took place on Monday, October 1st, at Norte Dame Cemetery following calling hours in our Fall River Chapel.
