Theresa Louise Frates, 85, of Swansea, passed away Friday at St. Anne's Hospital. Widow of Daniel M. Frates. Born in Somerset, daughter of the late Manuel and Clara (Pereira) Flores, she was a retired textile worker. Beloved mother of Deborah M. Cote (husband-Arthur), Joanne Harkin (husband-Lenny), Lionel J. and Timothy (wife-Donna) Frates all of Swansea; sister of Vivian Alfonso, Lorraine Nascimento and the late Marianne DeCambra, Helena Costa and Lionel Flores. She also leaves 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, August 11th, in St Francis of Assissi Church, Swansea, followed by her committal at Nathan Slade Cemetery in Somerset.
