Theresa B. Medeiros, 56, of Fall River, wife of Horacio H. Medeiros, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Boston on Friday, August 9, 2019 after a long illness. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Joaquim and Maria (Benjamin) Oliveira. She loved cooking, going on cruises, camping, and traveling to such places as the Bahamas and Florida, especially Disney World. Theresa was a happy, positive woman who had a " heart of gold" and was always there for everyone to help in any way should could. Besides her husband of forty years, she leaves: her loving daughters, Michelle Ferreira and her husband, Daniel, of Tiverton, and Monica Medeiros of Fall River; three grandchildren, Christian Medeiros, Damien Ferreira, and Faith Souza; her sisters, Maria Medeiros (late husband, Gil) and Adeline Aguiar, both of Fall River; brothers, John Oliveira of Fall River and Joseph Oliveira and his wife Bella of Tiverton; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was also the sister of the late Manuel Oliveira and the late Jack Oliveira. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, August 14th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
