Theresa Silvia, 94, of Swansea, wife of the late Arthur Silvia, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the Life Care Center, in Attleboro, MA. Born in Northbridge, MA, she was a daughter of the late Amedee Richard and the late Maria (Peloquin) Richard.

Theresa worked as a housekeeper. She loved helping others, family gatherings especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Most notably, Theresa cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

She leaves her children: Dennis Gallant and his wife Shelia, of Swansea, Richard Gallant, of Swansea, Paul Silvia and his wife Anna, of N. Dighton, and Arthur Silvia and his wife Paula, of N. Dighton; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Theresa was predeceased by her nine siblings.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, May 15th, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Swansea followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River.
